Indian weddings vary a great deal from family to family, but some idea of what to expect is at these websites about Bengali weddings: eStart and ClickWalla.com. It's mostly about good food, lots of family and "controlled chaos". At the end of it all, you're married somehow - it's a divine mystery.
Lonely Planet Guide - The Bible of travel in India, this book saved Jason's life (or so he claims) during his 2-month adventure in Northern India in 2001. Jason had been to India before he even met Alaka - a fact that made him a great catch in her eyes!

Visas: You can't get into India without getting a Visa before you get on the plane. We recommend a 6-month tourist visa. Visa forms for Americans travelling to India (apply soon!):
